SYSTEM OF EDUCATION IN PAKISTAN

It is a story of storm in my heart and service of an education. It was a beautiful night and the brightness of the moon was everywhere except in my life. There was a flood running in my nerves, and a thunder storm in my heart. I was crying, making my head down, and eyes covered with my hands. No one was responsible of this condition but me! It was my HSC result that pronounced me a loser, a loser upon every one. It was my battle that isolated me from every one, because I preferred to adhere with my own understanding of an education. It was a battle with a polluted, and a corrupt system, that was teaching me of being a coward, a copycat, and surrenders my honesty and integrity. I earned 60.00% in my final exams and I was cursing my past, I was worried for my present and for my future. I wanted to be a Doctor but for 60.00% I had no gates open from any University. I had no bright future, for sure.
All that happened because I refused to memorize several essays written by renowned writers and professors. It happened because I refused to elaborate the character of Ghalib, and Iqbal in other writer’s words. It happened because I rejected to learn and write the unnecessary 10pages answer of, "the Kashmir dispute." It happened because I refused to write answers from the notes provided by handsomely paid college Professors (in their private tuition after college). It happened because I refused to take private tuition from college professors who paid for not teaching in colleges, and legally rob students in their private tuition. It happened because I tried to follow the true meaning of knowledge and education, and the result of my loyalty and respect for the integrity of an education was in front of me. It was pronouncing me a loser.
In this bright night I was about to commit suicide, but a shadow came near to me; embraced me and said, "I'm the wise shadow of honesty in you. I'm the one you preferred to follow, I'm the one you learned to respect, I'm the one adopted by wise people, you aren't required to curse or kill yourself but to announce your success of being an honest person. Spread the shadow of your honesty everywhere and follow your dreams. Success has no boundaries and it is not restricted under the gates of these Universities, but it lies in you. She disappeared and in just few seconds all battles inside me disappeared and I attained the peace of mind. Losers are those who have their shops open for looting students, for disrespecting the integrity of education. Losers are those who forced students to learn their notes, and instead of attending colleges, attend their private tuition. What they are doing is a legal corruption, and we are responsible of adding more and more sugar in their pockets. We will have to amend this system. Think and Act, and whatever you do, do it wisely.
God Bless...

  5. Nicely written :) but you should have shared your views only about the college education system.of Karachi.....what about the schooling system it is also a part of our education system... what about those ghost schools...and those that were completed were not operated... because of a lack of management and vision. and what about the lack of funding by HEC at the university level.. rather you should discuss all the major aspects of education system or change your blog title related to college education system
